When you walk into a hospital there can be a fear or dread attached to your mind, you ask yourself "Will everything be OK? Will you live"?, etc. After being introduced to the nurses and staff and the Dr, my mind was put at ease and felt peace about my decision to have surgery. They were really awesome, and the facility was clean and organized. By God's grace and surrounded by wonderful and knowledgeable people, all went well, and I would recommend Reston Hospital any day.

I have previously posted a very detailed dissatisfied review but today was different. My family and I would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Emergency Department team at Reston Hospital for the exceptional care my mother recently received. We arrived by medical transport and were welcomed with kindness, professionalism, and compassion. The security staff greeted us warmly, and the receptionist’s smile immediately put us at ease during a stressful time. I would also like to recognize the registration representative who assisted us during our visit. While handling the administrative and insurance aspects of our care, she remained patient, professional, and reassuring, making us feel supported from the start. To our surprise, there was virtually no wait time. We were brought into a room almost immediately, and the quality of care was outstanding. Nurses Jasmine, RN, and Susana, RN, were compassionate, attentive, and professional throughout the visit. They treated my elderly mother with dignity, respect, and patience, ensuring she was comfortable every step of the way. We were especially grateful for Dr. David Kruse. He carefully reviewed my mother’s extensive medical history, recent surgeries, rehabilitation stay, and prior hospitalizations, performed a comprehensive examination, and ensured every necessary precaution was taken to rule out infection, pneumonia, and other serious concerns. His calm demeanor and attention to detail gave us tremendous peace of mind. I would also like to thank the two radiology professionals who came directly to my mother’s room to perform her X-rays. Their kindness and gentle approach were greatly appreciated, especially given the challenges of caring for an elderly patient who has endured months of hospitalizations, surgery, rehabilitation, and medical appointments. Before we left, Derrick kindly assisted my mother into a wheelchair with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. His kindness did not go unnoticed. T

I was skeptical when first told my surgery would be at Reston Hospital due to feedback from previous patients. My experience was 180 degrees in the opposite direction. Everything was fabulous. The care given by the doctors, nurses, tech staff and the food were outstanding! I could not have asked for a better experience.

Reston Hospital runs a well oiled machine. We were very pleased with their organization, attention to detail and friendly and thorough staff. There are so many details from the pre-op paperwork and pre-surgery interview phone call to the way the whole day of my surgery ran smooth and on-time. Thank you to all of the staff for everything they do. It shows. They all do a wonderful job.

My wife and I recently welcomed our baby girl, and we want to express our sincere gratitude to the incredible team who cared for us throughout our stay. In Labor & Delivery, Dr. Khan, Nurse Lizz-Lee, and Lead Nurse Erica were outstanding. They were professional, caring, compassionate, and supportive throughout the entire delivery process. They helped us feel comfortable and confident during one of the most important moments of our lives. In the Mother-Baby/Postpartum Unit, Lead Nurse Kristina, Nancy, Ivy , and lactation consultant Tracy provided exceptional care. They were friendly, attentive, patient, and always willing to help with any questions or concerns. Their kindness made our recovery experience much easier and more comfortable. In the NICU, Nurse Sarah, RN Morgan, Judi and all of the nursing staff were amazing. They cared for our daughter with professionalism and compassion, kept us informed, and gave us peace of mind during a stressful time. We are truly grateful for the care they provided. We would also like to recognize the front desk staff and everyone else we encountered during our stay. Every person we met was welcoming, respectful, and helpful. The hospital was clean, organized, and well-maintained. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we had an excellent experience. The entire team made us feel supported and cared for, and we will always remember the kindness shown to our family. Thank you all for helping us welcome our beautiful daughter into the world. We are deeply grateful.

I was admitted to the Reston Hosptal from the ER with severe cellulitis and stayed for 5 nights (22 -27 May) under the professional care of the nurses and doctors that supported room 212. Jasmine, Jackie, Jennifer, Debra, Tea, Fudirtu(sp?), Chris, Eunice and Ryan. Having just come from a 3 day stay at the Loudoun Hospital in Landsdowne, I can say that the quality of care was several tiers higher at the Reston Hospital. These nurses were responsive, flexible, understanding and thoroughly professional. My sincere thanks to all. Warm regard Ron Boggs, LTC USA ret.

From the moment i walked into the hospital I was treated respectfully and professionally. My surgical team was amazing and my surgeon, well he is the best!! My nursing team took such great care of me! Thankyou to all! This stay definitely made a stressful and frightening event much easier!!

Outstanding Care – Truly the Best Hospital Experience I’ve Ever Had My recent visit to Reston Hospital was hands down the best care I have ever received in any hospital. From the moment I arrived, the nurses were incredibly kind, gentle, and compassionate. They never once made me feel like a burden or as if I was asking for too much. Every question, concern, and request was handled with patience and respect. They were also amazing when it came to accommodating my family’s visits, which meant the world to me during my recovery. I never felt alone, and that level of care made a huge difference in my healing and comfort. I want to give a BIG shoutout to Katty — she truly went above and beyond for me. My experience would not have been the same without her. When Katty was on shift, I knew I was in the best hands possible. Her professionalism, warmth, and dedication made me feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. Thank you to the entire team at Reston Hospital for setting the bar so high. I recently had a hospital stay, and I want to sincerely thank the entire team for the care I received. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with professionalism, urgency, and compassion. I came in dealing with high blood pressure, and the staff took my condition seriously right away. The nurses were attentive, calm, and reassuring during a very stressful time for me. They monitored me closely, explained the medications they were giving me, and made sure I understood what was happening every step of the way. What stood out the most was how respectful and patient everyone was. No one made me feel rushed or dismissed. The doctors took time to answer my questions, and the nursing staff frequently checked in to make sure I was comfortable and stable. The environment was clean, organized, and well-managed. Even during what I know can be a busy shift, I felt seen and cared for as a person — not just as a patient. Because of their quick response and proper treatment, I was able to stabilize and safely return home. I’m truly grateful for the professionalism and dedication of the team.
